The Queen City
Cincinnati isn't a huge city, but it's my city. I've lived in the Cincinnati area practically my whole life, and there is a lot to do here! There is always the Cincinnati Reds or Cincinnati Bengals games. There are tons of resteraunts, concert venues and even great nightlife! Xavier University, Cincinnati State and Northern Kentucky University are all within twenty minutes of the main campus. There is also great school spirit within our university. Since our football team played in the Sugar Bowl last year, our student season passes have already sold out!

Commuter!
I have never lived in the dorms at the University of Cincinnati. Many friends of mine have, and for the most part enjoyed their experiences. If you live under 50 miles away from campus you are not required to live in a dorm.

Who Wants to Be a Club Rat?
Not me, that's who. I am only 19, so I cannot get into most clubs in the Cincinnati area. On certain nights they have a "college night" and girls 18+ can get in, but for boys it is still 21 and up. I find house parties to be more fun, the music isn't as loud so you can actually hold conversations and it's free. At bars and clubs they have a cover charge, plus drinks, but not at a party. Also some bars provide transportation, but they drop you off at one generalized location which can sometimes be a pain.
