Occidental is very generous with financial aid. i received a lot of aid.

Good Atmosphere
Students are required to live on campus for three years so there is a great social atmosphere. The dorms arent too bad as long as youre in one that has AC.

Walking, Bus, or Car
Everything on campus is within walking distance. A car is not required but its a nice luxury to have. There is public transportation via Los Angeles buses. Its not the best but it gets you where you need to go.

Unique
Eagle Rock consists of many unique shops and good places to eat. Walking back to the school, there is a stretch that gets a little sketchy, especially at night, so as long as you go in groups or in a car, its nice
