Pretty Safe
At Pepperdine, you won't ever not feel safe. Whether during the day or running the track at 4 am, it's always a good environment. If anything, DPS (Department of Public Safety) is too involved at the school. I haven't heard of any real crimes happening here.

Computer Labs
The computers here vary by department. The ones in the communications department are about as new as they come. Mac Pros with something like 27 inch displays. Computers in the library are not quite as nice, mostly Dells sporting the Pentium 4. I don't know anyone without a laptop, though. Printing on campus is doable, but it saves a 10 minute walk to the library if you have your own printer. The network is usually fast enough, but there are days when it is really slow.

Dining
Dining off campus is not great at Pepperdine. Malibu is an expensive place, and unless you want to go toward LA, you won't find anything cheap other than McDonald's or Jack in the Box. If you go to restaurant in Malibu, be prepared to spend about $20 for a $5 meal. Malibu Seafood is really good though.
