Something for Everyone!
Being in the beautiful city of Cincinnati, there is always something to do off campus at Xavier. There are bowling lanes right down the street, the Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal for the historically inclined, and Kenwood shopping mall. Newport on the Levee also has a shopping mall, movie theatre, delicious restaurants and an aquarium right across the Ohio River in Kentucky. The Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden are also right near by. As for night-life, there are bars and clubs that have “college nights” for students over the age of 18. There is truly something for everyone!

Available but No Pressure
Drugs are much less common than alcohol but they are obtainable depending on the student's peer group. There is extremely little peer pressure to use drugs and both drugs and alcohol are prohibited in the dorms.

Not Exactly All the Options I Would Like
Although there are pizza places like Dominoes and Cici's close by, the variety and quality of off-campus dining is not as great as I would like it to be.
