Cost
There are different off campus apartments you can choose from, but they are very expensive because they know it's a college town and that kids need a place to stay. So they definitely rip you off in those regards, but I live at South Rock and it is a nice place to stay. You just have to be on the landlords backs a little when you first move in to get everything you need.

On Campus
On campus Slippery Rock is a very dry campus, because alcohol is not permitted at all, even if you are 21. So many people go to apartments or houses to drink, and the happy bus runs at night so people who live on campus will just ride the happy bus to different places. A lot of people drink, but no one will force you to drink if you don't want to.

Financial Aid
The process isn't easy, but you shouldn't have too much of a problem getting everything set up. Just ask someone on campus and I am sure they will be willing to help you.
