Getting Better – Marshall just renovated one dining hall, and upgraded the food quality severely. The student center has an array of places to eat, like Pizza Hut and a sub place. Be wary of the meal plans though. It is required for freshman to get the unlimited, but once that year passes, down grade to a plan that is less expensive.

Hits and Misses – Marshall has some great new facilities such as the new rec center, and freshman dorms and our fairly new library. The other buildings however are out-dated and are in severe need of renovations. Our student center is a great place for students to hang out, and we just got a new Starbucks, which is essential for those 8 a.m. classes.

Unrealistic Graduation Goals – Some degrees are set up so that you graduate in 4 years...but only if you take 21 credit hours a semester. Check with the college that you want to become a major in with in the University so the plan can be explained and find another way to organize that plan.
