Loving Apartment-Style Options
I managed to get an apartment-style room at Boston University, which has made my time here just that much better. It's like living on my own in the city, except I'm right in the center of campus. Best of all, I'm not restricted to dining hall food because I have my own kitchen.

Great for Hockey Fans, but That's It
Hockey is by far the biggest sport here, but I don't really care for it. There's no football team, and the basketball team is garbage.

Bring Snow Boots and an Umbrella
It snows and rains a lot in Boston. Classes are never cancelled, so it's always a hike. Most New Englanders are used to the cold, but the non-locals have a tough time adjusting.
