Challenging
NC State is known for its science programs and I can see why. They are very challenging but they provide exactly the education I would hope to get out of a college degree. I worked my butt off to make grades but in the end I learned a lot.

Seems like most college settings. There are houses and apartments close by. Some are pretty expensive and some are pretty cheap. You just have to shop around to see what's best for you.

CRAPPY!
The greek houses look like office buildings. They started to remodel greek court by slowly building an actual house for each sorority/frat but it is a very slow process.

Tough but Good
school at nc state can be very difficult depending on your major. the professors really know their stuff and are interested in the topics that they teach. most are very willing to spend extra time with students to help them better understand the material they cover.

Variety but Wish There Was More
There was a few food options on campus while I attended school. The university has recently redone one of the biggest buildings to get food and the variety is improving a lot. They are also in the process of remodeling and expanding the student center so I can only imagine that the options would continue to increase.

Im not sure what its like to live on campus or in the dorms. I never did so myself while attending the university. However, off campus housing is nice in the area and reasonably priced.
