Not for Me

As a freshman, I went through most of the sorority recruitment. I stopped participating after the third day. Going into it, I was exciting because I wanted to make friends and be a part of something that I wasn't used to. I came to ECU from the north not knowing a single person at the school, so I saw sororities as a great opportunity. At first, I loved it... the girls at all the houses were so welcoming and nice.. but I soon realized that they told EVERY girl that she was a "perfect fit for the house". One sorority seemed so excited to keep me around.. and the next day I was cut. Don't think this to be the review of some awkward, ugly girl mad at the pretty girls for not liking her... I've never had a shortage of compliments, friends, or guys... maybe my versatile and northern sense of style put them off.

Love This School

Overall, I love East Carolina. I have so much Pirate Pride, which surprised me, because in high school I wasn't one for school spirit. I have such a diverse group of friends, which is awesome, and I also have an amazing apartment with amazing roommates to look fore ward to. I got involved in a club that really hit home for me and I totally belong there. And lastly, the fun at this school is great.. whether parties at night at houses and apartments or parties during the day at the apt complex pools, you'll never have nothing to do.
