Excellent.
I haven't had to pick a major yet, but in terms of classes and feeling out what I want to do, Yale's been great. Freshmen have a ton of flexibility and barely any distributional requirements to fulfill. As for the classes I've had, they've been great--lecture professors are amazing and the TAs/section leaders, though they aren't always exactly great teachers, are always very accessible and willing to help. My one seminar (writing) professor was amazing as well.

Good Looks
While the girls tend to look better than girls, there are great looking people of both genders. The guys also tend to be preppier. Main styles of dress on campus are either athletic or preppy. And almost everyone is very social--work hard, party hard. Most of the time, though, the furthest a "relationship" will go is friends with benefits. There definitely are a few relationships though.

Do What You Want
Regulation is at a bare minimum, and both alcohol and weed are definitely very visible and widely used. Not a lot of people regularly smoke weed; most of the time, with a few exceptions, it's just a weekend thing or once in a while. I'd say it's about 50/50 smokers and non-smokers. As for other drugs, I haven't encountered anyone using them myself, though I've heard of a few people doing coke.
