Off-Campus Housing at Brandeis University

Off-Campus Living: the Review

I have not personally lived in off-campus housing, but my friends who have tell me that it is fairly good. There are occasional problems with the buildings, and the walk to campus is a bit lengthy, but otherwise I have heard good things.

Nightlife at Brandeis University

C+

Brandeis Nightlife: It Works?

In terms of nightlife, the best option at Brandeis is to go to a different college. While there is Greek life present on campus, it isn't officially recognized by the school, nor is it hugely populated. The fraternities and sororities do throw some decent parties, but the distance to their houses can sometimes make going to the parties a hassle. Plenty of students choose to go into Boston instead, where BC, BU, Harvard, and occasionally MIT parties serve as a great change of pace from the very academically-focused Brandeis.

Overall Experience at Brandeis University

A

Brandeis: a Chiller Awesome School

I have honestly had an amazing experience at Brandeis so far. The student body is incredibly friendly, and it's very difficult not to have a giant smile on your face when you walk around campus. The academics are fairly intense, but people aren't at all cutthroat about it, and you can easily get help if you need it. The party scene isn't terribly large (in fact, it's fairly small), but this can easily be countered by throwing other parties with your friends or heading to a nearby college.
