The Culture Around You
University of Pittsburgh offers an amazing college experience. The city of Pittsburgh is great for college kids, it has Carnegie Mellon right next door and Duquesne University just down the road. Public Transportation is free with your college ID and so are many local museums and attractions. I have spent many Saturday's exploring the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and have learned many things from it.

Safety Is Strict
Safety is key at University of Pittsburgh. Many campus rules revolve around the safety of students. Students must sign in any and every guest into the dorms, however, this is for the safety of all students.

Pitt has been a great experience. I have spent most of my college experience here. I was a transfer student, however, I wish I had applied as a freshman. It is great to be around other schools such as CMU and to experience living in a small but up and coming city. It was life changing to be in Pittsburgh around the time of G20.
