Campus Housing at University of Arizona

Wonderful Dorm and Great Atmosphere

I live in a dorm, and luckily a brand new dorm! My dorm is wonderful! Always clean, and with everything you could imagine needing. We have free laundry, a kitchen (though small), rec rooms, a fitness room, and very large dorm rooms. Many of the other dorms are much smaller and older, but overall I have heard good things. The atmosphere on campus is a mix, as with any large state school with a variety of student focuses. If you surround yourself if people with goals similar to your own, the atmosphere is great!

Nightlife at University of Arizona

B+

Frat Parties Can't Coffee Shops

The nightlife, as farms I have seen, is largely non existent beyond frat parties. One thing I do love is University street and 4th ave. both aree your topical college atmosphere, with coffee shops and cool shops. This even a poetry slam we go to very month at a coffee shop on 4th, and a great solar powered New York pizza place!

Transportation at University of Arizona

A-

Many Options

There are many options on and around campus for transportation. The campus is small enough, you get usually get by wallking, biking, or riding a long board to class. But if you can't, there's a cat tran that goes around a lot of campus, and it is free. At night, there are services provided by the school to drive you around campus and off campus within a certain distance free of charge! Also, there's a city bus service called the sun tran, which with my experience hasn't been very useful, but if it is going where you want it would be a great option!
