Safety at SRU
I always feel safe at Slippery Rock walking around campus at any time because there is always a blue box in sight. A blue box is a post that lights up blue and has a button on it that can can press to send the police if you feel threatened, or just want someone to walk you to your room. These lights are placed all around campus for students to use.

Guys and Girls
Slippery Rock has a lot of different types of people. A majority of the student body is very into sports, you will always see the gym packed full and some sort of game happening outside. There is also a lot of artsy people preforming dance concerts, plays, or doing projects to help raise money for charities. Overall everyone at Slippery Rock University is very nice and welcoming towards each other.

Snow and Rain University
The weather at Slippery Rock University is very crazy and unpredictable. Although, many people from Pennsylvania know that's how the weather usually is. SRU gained the nickname Snow and Rain University for its bad weather but that's to be expected when you live in this part of PA.
