Classes Advertised Aren't Always Available – When I first started going to USCB, I saw a class advertised as African American Studies, but when I tried to registrar for it the class wasn't availabe. For the past two years, 4 semesters, the same class has been offered, but it still isn't available. For the most part, classes that are advertised have been available.

The Apartments Are Expensive – Bluffton/Beaufort/Hiltonhead housing is very expensive. It's expensive for the simple fact that it's all located by the water. It's not easy to find an apartment that would fit the budget of a "college student". Finding affordable apartments is a hassal, and when you do find them you notice that they are located far away from the school.

Advisors Are Readily Available – When I was a Psychology major, my advisor went out of his way to make sure I had every available resource the school had to help me be successful in my career. Now that I major in Early Childhood Education, my new advisor helps me as much as I need it.

Rains a Lot – Since Bluffton is close to Hilton Head Island, it rains a lot. Classes are rarely cancelled, and it is very hard to keep our books and clothing dry. When it is not raining, the weather is very nice and sunny.
