Campus Housing at Northern Arizona University

A-

NAU Life

The freshman dorms at Northern Arizona University are pretty good, but the upperclassmen housing is a lot better. There is a North and South campus and it takes about 20 minutes, at the most, to walk. I would make sure you have a bike with a good bike lock. People in Flagstaff are just generally friendly and considerate. There are plenty of things to do on and off campus. For example, I joined an intramural soccer team, I go snowboarding almost every weekend because the mountain is so close, and there are great restaurants downtown. Everything is pretty close in this college town so a lot of students do not bring cars and they are able to get rides from friends or take a bus. There are tons of places to hike and enjoy other outdoor activities. I have been able to get all of my classes and I am on track to graduate in 4 years.

Diversity at Northern Arizona University

A-

NAU Diversity

There is so much diversity on campus. There are also many programs and clubs available to international students. People tend to express their religious, sexual, and political preferences freely. Northern Arizona students are pretty accepting.

Scholarships at Northern Arizona University

B+

NAU Financial Aid

I received a decent amount of financial aid. They have a lot of options and scholarships to apply for, although many of them require that your have completed a certain amount of credits.
