Office Campus Housing
Currently I am a freshmen and it was a requirement to live on-campus for the first year of school. I am currently looking into off campus housing for next semester. There is plenty of off-campus housing, with many new apartment complexs. The rent is $400.00 month opposed to campus housing at 1,400.00 a month.living on campus you will always have access to the dining hall. office campus you will be responsible for your own meals. Most office campus housing you have to pay your own utilities but still cheaper than dorms. Parking is very limited throughout campus as well as off campus there lots of restrictions and fees. The school is very resourceful if you need any kind of assistant where it safety issues or you need of a tutor. They are very helpful except if you are in need of a scholarship.

Peer Pressure in College
I not aware of any illegal drug dealing at my school but I am sure it happens. I have attended several parties where alcohol was present and very encouraged. However coming from a family alcoholic I don't ever want to be apart of that. I am a strong advocate against drinking. I have made up my own mind concerning not being peer pressure into drinking. I have seen friends that had never drunk before crack under peer pressure. Our school do not tolerate drinking under age but it happen all the time.

I am only a freshmen and right now I am only taking my basic courses. However I do no that U Of I have a great program for political science.
