California State University, Northridge has the best surroundings. It is in the middle of everything. There is every store your looking for. It is about 30 minute without traffic from Los Angeles and 30 Minutes away from six flags. They are building the surrounding area to accommodate student life. There is a mall that is a 5 min bus ride up the street. The school just built a large gym that is free for the student and seems like it is going to be great. I feel that the local atmosphere is not a total college town feel but it does have everything you may look for when looking for a school based on surroundings.

I have never lived in the dorm but i have lived across the street and they are really strict. You can not get into the dorm without a pass after 6.. I think! We still found ways to sneak in. Besides it being strict I still had fun. I think staying in a dorm should be a freshman requirement. O... Yeah and it is expensive! It cost more than the tuition but the they are like apartments..!

Wish We Had A Football Team. Our basketball team is O.K.! The games are fun and the guys are sorta cute but I'm more a football type of gal. We don't really have great school spirit but I think it is because our school is commuter school.
