Lamar has a good availabilty of parking. There are many different parking lots around the campus. The only problem with parking is the distance away from the school that some of the lots are.

Lamar has recently built new Dormitories. Room availability is very well planned out, and the rooms themselves are very nice. It has a new fire alarm built in to warn students of fire.

The campus has a great safety system. There are cops that watch over many parts of the campus to give everyone a sense of security. Also the health department has many types of resources and availabilities.
