no girls
As a girl its common to check out competition, and at OSU there is none! Literally there are two guys to every one girl! All my friends are guys some good looking and some not, but they seem to be a lot easier to find then a normal or decent looking girl.

freshman dorms
Ok, so every dorms is creepy, but its not how nice the dorm is but where it is, and who lives there. South campus is the best for freshman, close to high street and buzzing with activity. The "freshman four" (steeb,smith,park and stradley) are the funnest dorms that everyone seems to gravitate towards. Oh and bring a fan or two!

What You Looking for
-If you are looking to study and are alittle on the nerdy side I would say North, mainly because your classes are mostly that way
-If you are nerdy but like the idea of south campus apply to honors or scholars dorms
-If you just want to meet people and have a good time, south is the place to be. Steeb,Smith,Stradley,and Park, are top four.
-If you are a minority and feel more comfortable living with other minorities usually the towers on west are popular

Very Diverse
I am from a diverse area of Florida highly populated with Jews, Hispanics, Greeks, Koreans, African Americans, you name it! But I have to say I've never seen a larger amount of Asians, mostly Chinese. There are a good amount of Indians as well. However, everyone seems to stay in their ethnic circle, there isn't much blending.

Not Bad
Whenever people from other schools visit they seem to be impressed by campus food. With only a few traditional dinning halls, most of the food is on a "swipes" base. You can eat a variety of decent choices, with multiple quick stops in most areas on campus.

Pot
Most college students you meet drink regularly, but I was pretty surprised to find that 95% of my guy friends and a good majority of girl friends smoke pot regularly. For anyone underage, it's certainly easier to get weed the alcohol, as you'll have at least two dealers living in your dorm. However, heavy drugs are rare and definitely frowned upon by most students.

I don't even have a car on campus but I can tell you from trying to park with friends, it's a mess!
