I know people who have gotten in trouble, but they were all being stupid. People party in dorms, usually sans ramification. Smell it? See it? Hear it? They will probably search you or something. Academically, we're actually pretty strict.

I Usually Wish I Had Not Come Here.

I came here under the impression I would find myself immersed in an accepting, liberal, friendly community. I have not felt that. My impression is that if you're not a hipster or part of the party scene, which is bigger than I thought as well, you will not make many friends. It's possible I have just not found my niche yet. Anyway, the food is hit or miss and inconvenient, the bookstore sucks. Financial aid is sparse. Class sizes are nice and professors are caring. Dave Limburg, German professor, is amazing. Campus is pretty. Too few students. Isolated part of Greensboro. I'm just not feeling it, and will probably transfer out for sophomore year unless I have a major change of heart.
