Greek Life

Greek Life at Towson is def the way to socialize around campus. When joining greek life, understand that your joining a group of people, not just an organization. While it's true that becoming a fraternity member will enhance your college experience, joining greek life shouldn't be done for the parties/women/friends because anyone can find that stuff without a fraternity. Big greek chapters like Pi Lambda Phi are great at Towson because they're active around campus and and promote fun social events. Even though they are selective about the people they give bids to, the progression of their chapter goes unmatched compared to the other chapters in IFC. Some other fraternities on campus like TKE promote their name and size more then their goals for benefiting society. While they do throw great parties, they're reputation among Towson officials keeps them heavily watched my judicial affairs. Overall I'd say the pledging experience is a great self-esteem builder that results in a new brotherhood of friends, an awareness to one's responsibility in society, and high grades freshman year (due to mandatory study hall sessions).

New major. ENTR classes. really helps you develop your business plan into and actual reality. Finance, Statistics I and II, and Marketing are all needed to graduate.
