While the ethnic diversity is not extremely large, the University as a whole is very focused on acceptance and knowledge about things different from one's own, including race, ethnicity, social class, education, age, gender, sexual preference, religious affiliation, political choices, and any other interest.

The weather is pretty much great if you like somewhat rainy days constantly and cloudy skies the other days. It is manageable.
