Chemical Engineering at Notre Dame

Notre Dame's engineering program is unique among the engineering programs with which I am familiar. The university has an overall focus for each student on the humanities, so engineers get a broad contextual education into which their specific discipline fits. As far as the program itself goes, the projects, assignments, and readings really focus on group work, environmental and economic responsibility, and product reliability. It is a fantastic program, and any suggestions students might have are taken into account due to the college's constant self-diagnosis and emphasis on improvement. I love being a Notre Dame engineer.
