TUPD Has Your Back.
All in all, everybody wants you to be safe here. TUPD will escort you if you walk by yourself at night, and there are the blue light phones. Occasionally you hear about muggings that happen in town, but the campus is generally unaffected.

I <3 Wireless
There are a ton of computers in Tisch Library to use, and there are also some specifically for music/digital arts programs. Printing is kind of complicated to figure out the first time, but after that it's not bad. High-speed internet is ALL OVER CAMPUS! Even on the lawn!

Frat Parties
There are only a few frats and sororities here, but they're a fun crowd. One of them is normally having a party. The frat parties can be kind of janky though, so watch out. However, they are always a great time, and a great place to meet other people. Beware that if you drunkenly hook up with someone, you WILL run into them later that week.

Rivalries
Townies and students have a mutually disdainful relationship. We try not to bother them, they get bothered by us, we're bothered that they're bothered...

Best Place Ever.
I love it here! I got into both Harvard and Columbia and this was easily the best choice I could have made. Everybody here is fun, interesting, passionate, and casually brilliant. Every activity you've ever wanted to try (or even never heard of!) exists, and everybody wants you to get involved. On top of that, we have friendly and helpful professors who want to help you succeed, and the best parties on weekends!

Dewick!
The food is the best. There is a ton of variety each meal, and it changes daily. You swipe in once to get an unlimited meal, so the upperclassmen tend to do their homework inside while snacking.
