Hipsters and Environmentalists on Steroids.

It's a small liberal arts college in Portland...aka hipster/environmental activist central. Girls with unshaved legs and armpits is very common. That being said, you still have the cigarette-smoking, clean-shaven, pretty attractive hipster chicks who know everything about every band you have never heard of. Guys with dreads, guys with tight pants and fancy vests, guys with no fashion sense at all are also very common. If you are looking for superficial, candy lips, big sunglasses, and orange tans...this is not the place for you. If you are looking for beer-brained, big guns, and rock hard abs...look again. There's also 0 greek life.

Needless to say, these "hipsters" and "super environmentalists" all (for the most part) have great hearts, high ambitions, and outstanding intelligence. Partying at this school can sometimes be a learning experience. Intellectual conversations and witty humor is inevitable. People at this school are curious about EVERYTHING. If you want to do things you have never done before, you're with the right people. Everyone at this school has an uncanny knowledge of music, art, literature, the environment, movies...etc. That being said there are some pretentious vibes, but ignore them. People will lighten up the more you get to know them.
