Wonderful and Varied Options
Duke has wonderful and varied options for dining on campus. The freshman dining hall provides a welcoming atmosphere that is shared with fellow classmates, and though the food is not top-quality the all-you-can-eat buffet-style makes up for it. Upperclassman options on West are incredible, including both eco-friendly eateries using locally grown ingredients and the favorite McDonalds, high-quality sit-down restaurants and quick hot dog stands.

Spirit
Athletics at Duke are truly unparalleled given the school's academic caliber. Though most of the unique aspects revolve around basketball (tenting, Cameron Crazies, Kville), athletics overall bring a fantastic sense of school spirit to the student body.

Realistic Policies
Policies at Duke are realistic. They address serious problems adequately, but allow college students to do what college students will inevitably do without unnecessarily harsh consequences. Campus police are prevalent but not feared.
