Peaceful but Active
Clemson, South Carolina is a college town by pure definition. Many of the town's activities are focused on the college students. This makes for a pleasant and safe environment for the students. The scenery of the town is beautiful and makes everyone feel at home and peaceful; however, at times the atmosphere can be perceived as boring to some members of the community, I give Clemson a solid A on all of the wholesome activities to be found there.

Good Ones Go Quick
The off campus housing in Clemson is very popular with the juniors and seniors who are ready to live off campus. There are several very nice choices available close and far to the school. Problems arise with off campus housing at this university in the selection process. Everyone wants the same apartments, so the best ones go very fast. The pricing is very reasonable and of course varies with the reality you are looking to rent. Many landlords are very helpful but it can be difficult to get them to repair your apartment if something breaks.

Learn to Use the Catbus
Clemson students all pay in their tuition for the public transportation system of buses that run all through the campus and to almost all of the off campus apartment complexes. Therefore, the transportation in this town for the students is wonderful; however, the students must learn to take advantage of this system as many still opt to drive their own cars to school.
