What You'd Expect
If you want to pay a smaller price, find roommates. The closer you live to downtown campus, the higher your rent will be. I live closer to Evansdale campus in a 2 BR and pay $350/person while living downtown will run you in the $500 for a 2 BR. Also, places are Evansdale are generally nicer.

Football and Basketball
The majority of the student population pays the most attention to football and basketball, although soccer has become increasingly popular

Too Clubby
I feel like Morgantown needs more casual bars. It is stuffed with clubs where guys will creepily come up behind you and dance without warning.
