World-Class Education!
I'm in the College of Natural Resources, one of the smallest colleges at UC Berkeley. This is great because I know my academic/major advisers personally and they are available to help almost anytime you need them. The professors are genuinely interested in the students! Many of the articles and books that are read in class were written by other Berkeley professors or prominent Berkeley alums. Berkeley is consistently named one of the best schools in the nation and the world. In fact, Berkeley is the #1 public university in America according to U.S. News and World Report!

Good, for the Most Part
One of the on-campus gyms, the Recreational Sports Facility, is a great place for a workout. The membership is well worth it--just $10 per semester, and you have access to everything! There are many different machines, a weight room, different sports courts, etc. to choose from. There are even different daily classes like yoga and weights. The football stadium is being retrofitted right now, so games this season were held at SF's ATT Park. Students received free BART passes to attend these games. There are so many libraries on campus and there is always a place to sit. Some of the buildings are old and a little run-down but overall that is not a big issue.

Pretty Good
Truth of the matter is, everyone here has a little bit of "nerd" in them...it's Berkeley! But there are more good-looking people here than I originally expected. Many of these people are involved in Greek life or live in the higher-priced dorms (or so I have noticed). Berkeley is not a campus crawling with attractive people but they are definitely out there!! People are generally personable and interested in thought-provoking conversation.
