Skipping Class
Emerson handles absences like high school does, if you miss more then two of a class per semester you will fail the class. Although it is entirely important to actually attend class, it should be the students responsibility. It is annoying to be treated like an immature 14 year old who needs punishments when we make a decision about class. Unless you are in the hospital dying, professors don't accept excuses. They say 2 absences no matter what the reason. It's frustrating and feels like we are being treated like children.

No Need to Travel
If you live on campus there is no need to travel. All classes are within a 5 minute walk most of them are only about a one minute walk. When you do travel off campus, the MBTA is the best option.

Cigarette City
You literally can NOT walk to class without walking through about 5-10 clouds of smoke, Emerson kids smoke incessantly and refuse to acknowledge the fact that some of us chose not to kill our lungs and won't move out of your way ever, they are all oblivious and self involved enough to think the WHOLE world revolves around them.
