The Library Is GREAT!
The facilities at Duquesne are equipped with a wide range of activities, however, they seem to be too small. There are not enough cardio machines at the gym to remotely encompass the 10,000 undergrad and grad students. The dining halls are not up to standards. They do not provide nutritional food or good tasting food for that matter. The best place on campus is the library. The library has five floors, each providing a perfect setting to study. There are computers to print out an unlimited amount of pages and certainly "quiet floors" that allow you to study during finals week.

D-
RA's Are Nazi's
If you are a freshman, the Resident Assistants are out to get you! Only a few are nice, but the other ones try to get you in trouble. Also, because it is a catholic university, no opposite gender visitations after 12pm on week days and 2am on weekends. Also, no opposite gender may be signed in over night! College freshman are 18 or 19 years old and can't have opposite genders sleep over, pretty lame rule for adults if you ask me! The campus police don't bother you unless they see you smoking out of a bong starting a fight.

A-
PT Program
The Physical Therapy program is very unique. It is a 6 year program that guarantees admission from freshman year as long as you maintain a certain G.P.A., unlike schools that require application to a Grad School. The social scene is GREAT in Pittsburgh. Duquesne is in the middle of downtown and oakland (where UPITT is located) and is very convenient. There are plenty of bars on the SouthSide and also in Oakland.
