A Lot of Party People
This campus has a reputation for being a party school, and the students try their best to live up to this reputation. Most of the Greek life is based around alcohol, but the people into specific programs are more sober more of the time.

Engineering Program
The engineering program at Iowa is a rigorous program, not for those who want a smooth college ride. The professors are smart, and if you put in the time with homework and getting to know them, your grades will be decent, but the course work is very difficult.

Eclectic and Fun
From modern dance recitals, to bar hopping, to the Old Capitol, there is a huge variety of things to do and people to see. Everyone who comes here from out of state always comments on how nice Iowans are, and we all try to live up to this reputation. Fun, easy place to live.
