While there are a lot of different races and cultures, we don't all mingle with each other. The internationals usually hang with each other.

Hardly any fun parties. The parties put on by cab can be pretty lame if you don't know the right people or super outgoing friends. Most places around campus are either 21+ or really expensive

There are several options but all of them are very expensive.

The food is often greasy or fried. The vegetables they offer are often overcooked or undercooked and bland. These food that tastes the best is the unhealthy items like the desserts and pizza.

Damp moldy smelling dorms. Ants, broken ceiling tiles and leaky ceilings in the Fine Arts Building.

I love being a music therapy major. We have great sites to work our practicums, a reasonable workload that we can control, and plenty of instruments to use as we need. Our professor is very helpful, knowledgeable and ready to answer our questions.

There are several scholarships, grants and loans from the school. I have received a fair share of financial aid. However, the fin aid office is very slow, and I have received varying levels ranging from not helpful to immediately helpful and have also received conflicting information. Its really helpful to know someone personally in the office.

Our professor is competent and knows all there is to know about the program. We receive several opportunities for hands on experience outside of that required for our studies. However, the music therapy program is understaffed and this makes it hard for the students to be able to take the required classes needed to graduate since we have to wait for the rotation of classes.

From what I see and from my own involvement, only other athletes, their friends and family are the main supporters who go to the games. School spirit and fan support are not prevalent throughout the student body. It occurs in little pockets of students. Since our football team isn't known to be very good (and football is the Texas sport) no one bothers to see our other teams, despite how good they may be.

There is a lot of good variety but very few places give student discounts and no food places work with the school to accept meal points from the university. There is a good price range from inexpensive fast food to expensive dine in places.
