Labs Get Crowed More Through the Night
The computer labs at Indiana University get very crowded more at night than during the day. If you print everything you need during the day then it isn't a big deal, but if you want to print something off in the evening you'll probably have to stand around and wait for an available seat. The Wifi at IU is very fast, so having your own computer is very convenient, but there has been multiple problems with it throughout the year. There will be random times throughout the day where your internet will go down and you won't be able to log back on for about an hour. So during these times it's very handy to be able to go to the computer labs.

Not the Most Convenient Parking
As a freshman you're lucky to get parking and if you do it'll be all the way at the stadium. Driving to your classes isn't the best bet considering there is next to no parking at most of the buildings. The only way you get to park next to your classes is if you're a professor, otherwise you better learn the bus schedules.

Take a Bus
If you want to get around campus and not have to do a lot of walking, then taking a campus bus is your best option at Indiana University. There are several different routes the buses take and several buses for most buses. Riding some buses are inconvenient though because they don't always stick to there schedules and can be late. There are very few routes that take you to the dorms that are at the very distant end of campus and those routes tend to only have one or two buses running on them. All in all though the buses are very convenient and if your a student you can ride them for free.
