Let Your Life Experience the Greek Life
At Hofstra University, Greek life is strongly encouraged. Many students might believe that joining a fraternity or a sorority would not affect the college experience, but the truth is that that experience could be enormously enhanced. There are multiple advantages of joining the Greek life, such as campus involvement, leadership opportunities, development of social skills & relationships and personal growth. Greek students are encouraged to achieve excellence and improve their GPA's. Besides their academic hard work, community service and other activities, they also host parties which get students involved and have opportunities to meet other people and develop new friendships. I could not join a fraternity for my freshman year, but after analyzing all the advantages the Greek life offers, I will definitely join a fraternity on my sophomore year.

Park on Time
I am a commuter student and do not have a car; I take the bus, therefore I did not have to deal with parking problems. However, I have listened to many comments from friends and other students complaining about the commuter parking lot. They complained mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which are days where part-time students come to campus. There are not sufficient parking spots, and in order to get one, a student must get there at least fifteen minutes before class starts.

Best Year of My Life
Hofstra is a great University. I finished my freshman year and I really enjoyed it. It offers many clubs and activities to keep a student entertained. I joined the soccer club which is really fun, I met great people who have become best friends. The Academic aspect is also very interesting and personalized. There are not many students per class; this makes the subject easier to understand. Professors at Hofstra are professional and are ready to help students with difficulties. It provides with a nice variety of dining options located at different places around campus. Hofstra has an olympic pool and a big gym with all types of machines and other facilities ready to be utilized by students.If I could go back on time, I would choose Hofstra as my top choice University again.
