Communications

This is supposedly the most impacted, hardest-to-get-into major on campus. Obviously it isn't the most difficult, but it is what I and other comm. majors want to learn about. Classes are smaller since enrollment since the amount of students allowed in isn't as large. The topics have interested me thus far, and the professors and advisers are great. We have so many internship opportunities given to us, and feel that the Communications Program's networks are great. Graduation requirements have changed this recent year, and I feel like it allows students to get more of broad education over the discipline. The only type of class I am still waiting for though is an Advertising/Marketing class.

Campus Dining at University of California - Los Angeles

A

Dining Halls & Sandwich Shops

The dining halls are great! I lived in the dorms for two years, and I was impressed more often than disappointed. The menus kept switching things up, and the salad bar right in the middle of the dining hall helps me keep in mind that I need to stay healthy. I believe we have some of the best resident-hall dining in the country! While other school's students are complaining, I was chowing down.

Now that I live off-campus, I find myself needing to eat of campus. Northern Lights is a great place to get a quality, but incredibly affordable lunch. I also like to visit Taco Bell often- my fave.
