Workload
The workload is a gradual thing, it starts off easy and as you continue, it gets harder. The professors are willing to help you when you need it. Also, they have all kinds of work shops to help you learn how to manage your grades and the extracurricular you may want to get into.

They are very good at letting everyone on campus know what's going on by sending out emails, and they will even send a text message if you sign up for that feature.

School Spirit
Sports are a big deal at Louisiana State University. The school spirit is everywhere, and everyone on campus is pretty much a fan. Majority of the people on campus own clothes that show what school they attend, so you never have to feel as if you are overdoing it.
