There is petty theft, but Campus Safety tries very hard to make people aware of it, and it usually just occurs when things are left unattended. Campus Safety leaves us alone as long as you are discreet. I always feel safe.

The athletic center (AC) is about...
The athletic center (AC) is about to be expanded, and then it won't be so crowed. I'm really happy with the student center and the library. They are definitely comfortable and well kept.

It depend what you are looking...
It depend what you are looking for, but I'd say we have a good selection. You may have to drive 20 minutes to Mystic, but it's totally worth it. Mystic has Azu, Bravo Bravo, Rice Spice, and Noodle. Closer by in New London are Brie and Blu, and Bean and Leaf. Then there are restaurants at the mall like Outback Steak House and Chili's and Olive Garden. There are also some good Indian and Chinese places. Thank goodness for Chinese takeout!

Although statistically we aren't...
Although statistically we aren't that diverse, it is a noticeably diverse campus. I tend to run into more politically liberal people, but that doesn't mean that conservatives don't exist here. I think that we are all-around diverse, though the typical Conn College student is female, white, upper-middle class, straight, and from outside of Boston. More importantly is that Conn welcomes everyone; it doesn't matter if you are the only one of your 'type.'

I was glad to have a pair of...
I was glad to have a pair of rainboots, but I didn't need my heavy snow boots (unless I had tried to go sledding). When the weather is nice it is very nice, and you can sun on the greens or go to the beach. We definitely get a taste of all the different flavors of New England weather.

After alcohol, I'd say that pot is...
After alcohol, I'd say that pot is the most prevalent drug, though I've heard some people do harder stuff. Smoking isn't hard to avoid, and I haven't seen too much pressure to drink, though it depends on the people you are with.
