Hardworking Students, Hardworking Faculty
More than anything, the students at Georgetown push themselves to succeed. The faculty is great but it's the students who really serve as the motivation factor. Because the school is relatively small, there is no pressure on the professors to force kids out of classes by making things excessively hard and flunking students. Most teachers are fair. The work can be challenging, but you can succeed if you keep an open mind. The sheer amount of required courses in the college can be daunting, but I truly appreciate the chance to take classes in fields I would have never explored without the requirement.

Super Safe, but Don't Be Stupid
Georgetown is located in one of D.C.'s poshest neighborhoods. This does not mean that crime is non existent, but it does mean that things are generally pretty safe. You won't feel scared walking around late at night, and there are plenty of police around. Too many on weekends if you ask many students. Laptop theft from the library and on-campus apartments is common, so students need to be careful in that aspect.

Expensive
Georgetown is an expensive place and parking is limited in any city. Don't count on parking to be easy here.
