Crowded Library Most Days

Not only this but the internet, regardless of wireless or wired, sometimes does not seem to work or slow down noticeably even on regular days of the week. Printing on campus is very nice because there is a dedicated office for printing and making large posters. The need for a personal computer is up to the student. The university has a laptop borrowing program in which you can borrow a laptop and take it anywhere on campus but you must return it within the time frame given. The library is rather large with up to 7 floors. If one floor, like the first floor, is crowded then chances are that you may find a room up on the upper levels; however, the chances of that happening diminish during midterms and especially finals when everyone crams.

Diversity at University of Tennessee

A

Friendly, Southern School

The ratio of students from different backgrounds is large. There is actually a building which was constructed to allow students to mingle with foreign students and meet new people. People may attach stigmas to southern schools pertaining to the acceptance of students from different backgrounds, but in my experience I have never had any difficulties with faculty members and much less students. The campus environment is friendly overall and there are campus activities at regular times where people may go to gather with students of an ethnic background.

Overall Experience at University of Tennessee

A

Best School.

The best research programs are here at UTK and the business school is getting recognized as well. UTK has consistently been recognized as a great public school, but in my opinion it is the best school to attend. As freshman, I already established my footing here with classes and how to study, and if students do the same as I did there should not be a problem. As with any college in the country, you must study first and then have fun. The passion students have is great, especially at football games.
