Present but Quiet
There is definitely a police presence, but when it comes to action it's a much more quiet response. Thankfully, there is an EMT presence that comes to assist very often and swiftly. They will only come when called, so often people can get away with a lot.

Go to Different Schools
There are no frat houses on campus, so that's not an option. There is a heavy religious presence on campus, so there are many rules against drinking and drug use. Many places ask for cards and identification. Best bet go to Depaul, University of Chicago, or UIC.

In Need of More Diversity in Academic Areas
It makes sense that a lot of incoming freshman are biology/pre-med or business majors because that is what Loyola is known for, but other programs are neglected. I am considering going into anthropology, but the research opportunities are slim to none here. Many Fellowships are designed for biology majors while other programs like the Black World Studies program is being cut. I still think its a great school, but there are a lot of students who do not want to be pre-med or business majors.
