Local Atmosphere at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

B+

Great Restaurants and Transportation

Downtown is very close to the campus and there are lots of transportations like bus and trains. You can go anywhere around Minneapolis and St. Paul by just taking a bus. Also, even further, with trains and interstate buses. The largest or the second largest mall in the US is around 25 minutes driving away from the campus and the mall is JUST huge. I have never gone to there like that mall before I came to college in Minnesota. Also, great restaurants are in campus such as Chinese, Korean, American, Indian etc. You will love this place!!

Greek Life at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

A-

GOOD Greek Students!

They all gather in part of the campus called 'Dinky Town'. There are hundreds of Greek houses and students live there. They have party in every Friday and Saturday night and seems they have so much fun. Therefore, there are so many restaurants and bars in Dinky Town. They do not disturb people near their houses and non-Greek students want to join them (Also me too!!). It would be great to be one of the Greek student!!

Transportation at University of Minnesota - Twin Cities

A+

Transportation...NICE!!!

As I said before, transportation is great. Cost is reasonable (around $100 for one semester and you can use any transportations in Minnesota). There are so many buses on campus and you can go anywhere with that bus! Also downtown is 2-4 blocks away from the campus there trains are in downtown! Also, Minnesota is constructing trains into the campus so life will be much easier in next year with trains in campus!
