Davis is a true college town. There's a massive student population. Many people say there isn't much to do, but with active searching, you can find really interesting events.

Lots of Wind in Davis
Everything tends to be fine and dandy, but when it's windy, biking is very difficult. Biking in the rain is also not ideal.
