Is the workload hard? I'm interested in studying Physics.

Yes, because I never took Physics and when I took it in the summer bridge program I didn't understand anything.

No not really. It depends on your professor, I'm sure you will do just fine!

Are there any students who were accepted or plan on attending this fall? I want to make some new friends before I attend.

There are plenty of people to meet on campus with the same interests as you. Just go to clubs with the same interests like videogames, anime, or subjects like math and psychology.

I am attending Virginia Wesleyan this fall and there are three, maybe four, more I know of from my school.

How is the Earth and Environmental Science program? Is it hard/heavy workload? And what skills/knowledge do you recommend for this field before getting started?

Should I bring my 21" iMac to my dorm or should I use the labs instead? And how is the wireless connection.

I don't know about WiFi but I do know many students bring their computers to class and there are a couple 24-hour computer labs on campus. Hope this helps.

The wifi isn't the best, but if you get an ethernet cord you'll be fine.

You should if you wish too. Or you can use the library that has a student only computer that can be accessed 24/7.

How is the wifi reception there? I plan on bringing my iMac to my dorm.

The wifi strength depends on where you are on campus. They have just updated it so it is getting better. The wifi in the dorms is pretty good.

To me the wifi is amazing but it just depends where your dorm building is

Oh ok. I'll be in the Midrise building.

Should I be worried if I haven't heard from George Mason about my decision through the mail? I applied regular decision (a few days before the deadline) and I know they have to respond by April 1st.

It isn't April 1st yet and you haven't gotten a letter so you still have a chance.

Thanks!

I called them, they mail out April 1. You'll find out next week

Alright. I know we will both be accepted.

Haha thanks (: hope so!

Yep! I wonder why they'll mail it out on the last day.

I'm a homeschooled student with a GPA of 3.7 and ACT of 21. Does being home educated give me an edge or not? And will I be accepted? I'm required to submit my act scores since I'm homeschooled.

Yes! I know a girl who was homeschooled and now goes to GMU

What was her GPA and ACT like?
