Campus Dining at Muhlenberg College

A-

Practically Brand New

There are many places where you are able to get food on campus. The main location is the brand new (opened in August 2010) Bob Wood Dining Commons which is huge. There are two levels, or floors, which you can eat at. You swipe your meal card once and then have an all you can eat buffet basically. There is a sandwich line, a pasta stations, a grill, salad bar, frozen yogurt machine, desert bar, and other things as well. The only bad thing is that sometimes the food can get a little repetitive. The quality of the food is pretty good though. They make all of the food there and most times right in front of you. You can also get dining dollars on your meal plan and go to other places for food. We have a more grill/fryer place called the GQ which is open to 1 AM on school nights and 3 AM on weekend nights. This is a very popular spot to get food. There are also other places you can get food with these dining dollars, such as a smoothie/milkshake place called Freshens. I would recommend the Silver or Gold dining plan. There is also an unlimited plan if you'd prefer that.

Guys & Girls at Muhlenberg College

Mix of People

There is a nice mix of kids at the school. There are kids from across the country there, but for the most part there are kids from New Jersey. The dress and stuff is the same as you probably would see at most high schools, unless you had to wear uniforms. The kids are easy to get along with and there is almost always something to do.

Parking at Muhlenberg College

B

You Get Used to It, Not Terrible

Freshmen are not allowed to have their cars on campus, but that usually doesn't last all too long. You can park your car on the streets right next to the freshman dorms with no problem. The only thing is you have to be careful in the winter in case there is snow or something. Some people have gotten plowed in. After that, you are able to park your cars in parking lots with a permit for the last 3 years. Once on campus, you can walk from the freshman dorms all the way to the farthest class building in five minutes. Parking isn't that big of a difference. You are never more than 10 minutes away from anything really on campus
