Parking?
The price for a parking permit is pretty reasonable: $100 a year. You could park in virtually any parking lot on campus except in the reserved ares. If you want a good spot, it's good to get to school early. I personally do not drive to school because the buses are pretty convenient. If I had the money to buy a car and afford to pay for gas/insurance, I would definitely take the car to school.

Free Stuff
Although the tuition is really expensive, there's a lot of opportunities to get free stuff. There are events every week, if not everyday, where they offer something or give something out for free. Since SJU is big on school spirit, when there are games and other events, they tend to give out free t-shirts, free food, or other free junk. One of the weekly things that I like the most, are Java Johnnies which take place every Friday where there's free Dunkin' Donuts coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts for everyone with an SJU ID Card.

I haven't been involved in any internship opportunities yet because of my schedule, but I do intend on doing it in the future. I know that there are opportunities to do student teaching jobs, research with professors or doctors in the school. The school also advertises and promotes a lot of internship opportunities outside of campus too, but I just haven't looked into it in detail yet.
