Atmosphere
In Lubbock, It can seem rather country. But where you might think there wouldn't be much to do there is. You can find something every day and night of the week.

University Pointe
Even though you can see campus from this apartment complex, its expensive for what you get. It is also not very well insulated, its very loud, and the staff isn't good at all. I am moving into a house a few blocks from campus and expect it to be a lot better.

Needed
Even if you live within a 3 minute walking distance from school you need a parking pass. If you don't have one you can't park on campus. It is freezing in the winters and hot in the summers. It's the second largest campus behind the airforce, so even if you do live close to campus chances are you aren't close to your classes

Engineering Sorority
I'm in the engineering sorority, and it was the best decision of my life. And all of the greek life here is amazing, it's one of the things Tech is known for.
