Close, but Minimal

The parking at L&C is definitely close to the dorms and classes, but there is not much of it. It is often difficult to find spots and there is often complaint about the lack of parking for all students.

Love It

L&C is definitely the place for me! All the students are open, caring, and excited to become friends. The campus is beautiful and there is a great balance between social life and academics. There's always tons of activities and live music on campus. I can't wait to go back next semester after the summer!

Rewarding Efforts

There's always something to do, whether a party or something in town, but you have to make the effort. Parties are often not close to campus and finding things to do in Portland (concerts, shows...) takes effort. However, if you make this effort, the parties are always fun, with live music, and the concerts and shows in town are amazing!

Knowing Everyone's Names

My favorite part about L&C academics is the small class sizes. My largest class was thirty! I always know everyones name and the teachers make personal efforts to help you learn!

My one complaint is that the administration often places priority on a professors publishing history over their ability to conduct a good class.
