LMU Computer Life

There are an abundant amount of computer labs at Loyola Marymount University one in almost every building. The majority of computers are Macs like in the library, but they are loaded to work as PCs as well. There is a printer in every computer lab. Some printers have free printing, normally found in your major department and the library is .10 per page but your student ID card comes with $25 of printing money every year. Most people have their own printers for convenience, but you could live off library printing. The network is average, just like any other the wireless is slow sometimes, but most of the time there is nothing to complain about. There is campus wide wireless access and people use their laptops everywhere. The library is crammed full during finals and midterms so it may be hard to find a computer there so having your own is nice then, but there are lots of computers everywhere on campus.

Eating Life Around LMU

Eating around LMU is awesome there are many places that offer student discounts. Easily over 30 well-known eateries. The prices range depending on what you're looking for as do the styles. There is every type of cuisine within a 10 mile radius and there is take-out, sit down, cheap, fancy whatever you are looking for it is available. My favorite little place is KC's Crepes. They offer an awesome atmosphere and decent prices and you could walk there from campus.

Substances at LMU

Drugs are not really seen on campus and there is some alcohol visibility on weekends. There is not any peer pressure, people are very accepting. Policies regarding drugs and alcohol are enforced very strictly.
